Amphilochus (son of Dryas)
Amphilochus ( Greek Ἀμφίλοχος ), the son of Dryas , was in Greek mythology the husband of Alkinoë , the daughter of Polybos . With her he fathered a child. Alkinoë cheated on the Sami Xanthos and finally sailed away with him. When she thought of her child and her husband, realizing that she had made a mistake, she plunged into the waters and drowned.
