Amrik Singh Mehta

Amrik Singh Mehta ( February 15, 1921 - April 10, 2004 ) was an Indian ambassador.

Life

From February 1959 to 1963 he was representative of the Indian government at the United Nations Office in Geneva and consul general with the administrative district of Switzerland. From 1963 to 1967 he was ambassador to Damascus . From 1968 to 1969 he was ambassador to Bucharest and was accredited to the government in Sofia . From April 1969 to 1971 High Commissioner (Commonwealth) in Accra , Ghana and Ambassador in Monrovia . From 1974 to 1978 he was ambassador to Vienna .
