The Amstettner hut is 922 m above sea level. A. on the Forsteralm near Gaflenz in the Ybbstal Alps . The refuge is operated by the Amstetten section of the PES , is managed all year round and offers 30 places in the mattress store in addition to food .
The hut can be reached from both Gaflenz and the municipality of Opponitz .
history
The hut was built from 1957 to 1959 and opened for the first time at Christmas 1959. From 1991 to 1993 the hut was completely renovated.
