The Grubenhagen office was a historical administrative area of ​​the Kingdom of Hanover .

history

The official parish goes back to the accessories of Grubenhagen Castle, which fell to the Guelphs in the 13th century . Around 1521 the seat of the office was relocated to the village of Rotenkirchen and has since been referred to as the Rotenkirchen office . The official seat was expanded to become a castle and temporarily served as the Grubenhagen residence. After the Westphalian rule, the office was restored, in 1826 combined with the office of Salzderhelden to form the new office of Grubenhagen (based in Salzderhelden ) and transferred to the office of Einbeck in 1840 .
