Katlenburg-Lindau Office
The Katlenburg-Lindau office was a historical administrative area within the Landdrostei Hildesheim of the Kingdom of Hanover .
history
The office was created in 1832 within the principality of Grubenhagen through the merger of the Katlenburg office (excluding Dorste) with the Lindau office , which has been in Mainz since 1521, and was renamed the Lindau office in 1852 . It was abolished in 1859. The former Mecklenburg communities came to the Osterode office , the former bailiwick of Lindau to the Gieboldehausen office .
