history

The Office Schwarme was formed in 1852 from the communities that had fallen to the Celle line of the Dukes of Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1679/81 from the original Arch-monastery-Bremen Office Thedinghausen and had previously belonged to the Office Thedinghausen. In 1859 it was abolished and partially incorporated into the Bruchhausen Office . Most of the communities came to the Verden office of Landdrostei Stade in 1864 .
