Amtsplatz 2 (Bregenz)
The house at Amtsplatz 2 is a residential building in the upper town of Bregenz . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The building dates from the second half of the 19th century, was originally a mill, later a bakery - at Keilstein from around 1800 is the symbol of a pretzel and later an inn. Today it is used as a residential building. The core of the house consists of remains of the former city wall from the 13th to 16th centuries.
architecture
The house is a two-storey building with a loft under a bent gable roof and a wide crossed gable. The windows on the first floor have sandstone walls.
