Amy Myers

Amy Myers (* 1938 in Kent ) is an English editor and writer .

Life

Myers studied at the University of Reading a . a. English literature and literary history . She then worked as an editor in a publishing house for over ten years. She married James Myers, whom she met while studying. Around 1975 Myers was promoted to managing director of a publishing house in London and held this position until 1988.

reception

Myer's husband worked in Paris during the early years of their marriage , and her regular visits to France coincided with her first literary attempts. This is why she came up with the idea of designing her protagonist “Auguste Didier” as a French man who lives and works in Great Britain. Myers also published some works under the pseudonyms Harriet Hudson and Laura Daniels .
