Anagusa (also Bentley Island) is an island in the Louisiade archipelago . Politically, it belongs to the Milne Bay province in the southeastern part of Papua New Guinea . At the 2000 census, the island had a village with 85 inhabitants in 21 households.
Anagusa is located 10 km south of the Engineer Islands . It was settled by migrants from Normanby and Wari . The style of the pottery made on Anagusa corresponds to that of Wari. The population consists of fishermen and subsistence farmers. The closest island is Mudge Island 6.8 km southeast.
The island's inhabitants speak Bwanabwana .
Administratively, the island belongs to the Bwanabwana LLG (Local Level Government area) of the Samarai-Murua district in the Milne Bay province.
