Anais (potato)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anais is an early to very early variety of potato.

She is a cross of Monalisa X Lizen . The breeder is Grocep / Semagri from Lelystad . The tubers have a round oval shape, they have a striking, evenly light and smooth skin, flat eyes and a yellow flesh color. It belongs to cooking type B, i.e. predominantly waxy. It is resistant to nematodes of the Ro1 biotype.

Their foliage is low, which means that farmers regularly doubt their productivity. The bulbs are small. As a result, the few tubers are formed accordingly, so that marketable goods can be available at an early stage. However, this requires intensive germ stimulation . On dry locations it only brings below average yields.
