The Anak ( Indonesian Danau Anak ) is a lake on the Indonesian island of Roti ( Lesser Sunda Islands ).

The Anak is located in the district of Red Barat Daya ( Government District Rote Ndao Regency , Province East Nusa Tenggara ).

fauna

The anak is one of the areas where the last specimens of the Chelodina mccordi mccordi , a subspecies of the McCord's snake-necked tortoise, can be found . Here, too, it is on the verge of extinction due to illegal animal trade and loss of habitat.
