Anal is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken by 23,000 people of the Naga ethnic group in India and Myanmar .

Anal is spoken in the Indian state of Manipur , Myanmar's Sagaing Division, and possibly Bangladesh . According to the Indian census, 13,900 of the estimated 23,000 native speakers live in India. UNESCO classifies anal as a "potentially endangered" language.
