Ilan Boccara (born May 14, 1993 in Boulogne-Billancourt ) is a football player with a Dutch and French passport . He currently plays for Ajax Amsterdam .

Ilan Boccara was born to a Dutch mother from Amsterdam and a French father in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt . That's where he grew up too.

Offspring

At the age of six, Boccara began playing football in the ES16 youth team in 1999 . After only one year he went to the youth department Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt . In 2006, Boccara, now 13 years old, moved to the Paris Saint-Germain academy .

For the 2010/11 season, the now 17-year-old Ilan Boccara was pulled up into the reserve team of Paris Saint-Germain, known as "Paris Saint-Germain B". PSG's reserve team played in the fourth-class CFA . In the 2011/12 season he came to a single use in the reserve eleven.

Ajax Amsterdam

For the 2012/13 season he left Paris Saint-Germain and went to Ajax Amsterdam . Although he was initially used there in the reserve team ("Jong Ajax"), he made his professional football debut in late August 2012 when he was substituted on for Lasse Schøne after 77 minutes in the 2-2 draw against SC Heerenveen .

National team

Boccara, who has the passports of both countries, played four times for the U-19 national team of the Netherlands in 2012. He can still choose between the senior national teams of both countries.
