Anar
Anar (real name Anar Rəsul oğlu Rzayev ; born March 14, 1938 in Baku , Azerbaijani SSR ) is a modern Azerbaijani writer .
Among other things, his stories "Ich, du, he und das Telefon", "Georgischer Name" (both 1967) and his novel "Weißer Hafen" were translated into several languages (German, French, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Arabic, Bulgarian and the languages of the former Soviet Union) and published in many countries.
A play was written in Bulgaria based on the motifs of the story "Me, you, he and the telephone" and the film "Every evening at 11.00 o'clock" was shot in Moscow in the film course Mosfilm.
In Germany, his novel "The elevator drives past" (aserb .: "The sixth floor of the five-storey house" (1978)) was particularly well known, which tells of the unhappy love between Tähminä and Saur, which fails due to the conservative traditions of society.
