The Anare Nunatakker are a group of mainly snow-capped mountain ridges with exposed peaks (so-called Nunatakker ) of up to 2035 m in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . They rise 25.5 km south of the Stinear Nunatakker .
They were first visited in November 1955 by a team as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer John Mayston Béchervaise (1910-1998). The name is given by the acronym of the research trip (s).
