Anatoly Ivanovich Akishin

Anatoli Ivanovich Akishin ( Russian Анатолий Иванович Акишин ; born June 9, 1926 ) is a Soviet and Russian nuclear physicist .

Life

Akischin received his doctorate from the Moscow Energy Institute in 1950 and submitted his thesis in 1958. In 1977 he was awarded the title of professor.

He conducted research in the field of physical electronics, radiation physics, the prediction and mimicking of the effects of various spatial factors on materials and elements of spacecraft, test materials of a thermonuclear reactor, and radiation technology.

As a scientist, he gained notoriety and recognition for studies involving methods of simulating the effects of the space environment on materials and elements of spacecraft.

Awards

  • 1979: State Prize of the USSR as a member of a group of scientists for his work in the field of space research.
