Anatoly Salewski

Anatoli Salewski ( Ukrainian Анатолій Залевский ., Scientific transliteration Anatoly Zalevskyj , Russian Анатолий Залевский , scientific transliteration. Anatoly Zalevskij20th April 1974 in Berdychiv ) is a Ukrainian acrobat and Äquilibrist .

At the age of five, he entered his hometown circus school. At the age of 17 he was accepted at the state school for artists in Kiev . At the age of 21 he graduated as the best of his class. In 1998 he won the gold medal at the Cirque de Demain competition in Paris. In the following year he won the Golden Clown of the Circus Festival of Monte Carlo , the First International Variety Award of the Dream Dancer Festival in Kassel and the Award of the Wintergarten Varieté Berlin for outstanding artistic performance.

He has received offers from various circus companies, but seeks his own way in the synthesis of artistry and dance. In 2003 he founded the Ensemble Rizoma together with nine dancers and six other acrobats , which has since performed under the choreography of Juri Wagin .
