Andean horn

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Andean horn is an ancient variety of tomato ( Solanum lycopersicum L. ) from Ecuador and Peru .

The fruit is counted among the bottle tomatoes, has the shape of a rather pointed paprika fruit and is about 10 cm long; the shell is very thin. The meat is firm, very aromatic, not very juicy and low in seeds. The tomato variety is very productive, quite robust and has a relatively good shelf life.

The tomato variety can be grown both indoors and outdoors.
