Andischeh ( Persian انديشه) Is a town in County Schahriyar in Tehran . In 2016 the city had over 116,000 inhabitants. The city is a planned city built in the 1990s.
history
Andisheh was built from 1992 and carefully planned according to traditional Iranian principles. It has a triangular shape. The south and west side extend over 5 km, the northeast side over 4 km. In the mid-2000s there were about 50,000 residents. The final capacity should be 150,000 inhabitants.
location
Andisheh is located on a plateau in a generally flat area, but to the northeast in a hilly area. It is located 30 km from Tehran , northwest of Shahriyar (3 km) and southeast of Karaj (7 km). The area around the city consists mainly of grassland.
