André Buzin

André Buzin (* 1946 in Dinant ) is a Belgian artist who paints animals and flowers. He is famous for the Bird Series, a Belgian definitive series .

Buzin drew his first postage stamps for Zaire in 1984. For Rwanda and Mauritania he also created several series on animals and the 1984 Summer Olympics .

The Belgian Post Office has been issuing stamps from Buzin's bird series since 1985. Thanks to this series, he won around ten philatelic art prizes in Belgium and the “Prix du Roi” in 1995.

Since the late 1990s, Buzin has also designed postage stamps with flowers for Belgian stamp booklets and stamp rolls .
