André Masset

André Masset (born November 24, 1910 in Montdidier , † 1975 ) was a French football player .

Career

Masset played in the jersey of the northern French club AC Amiens before he moved to the first division club FC Antibes and thus in professional football in 1933 . For Antibes, the defender came to regular appearances from the start, which did not change in the following years. With the club he held the class until the football championship was only continued unofficially from 1939 due to the Second World War ; this incision also marked the end of Masset's first division career, which included 168 games without a goal.

After the end of the war he played for Antibes in the second division and was still active in the course of the 1950/51 season at the age of 40 as an amateur player for the club, which was now in the lower leagues.
