Andreas Hanger
Andreas Hanger (born June 19, 1968 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and managing director. He has been a member of the Austrian National Council since 2013 .
education and profession
Hanger attended primary school in Ybbsitz between 1974 and 1978 and then switched to secondary school in Ybbsitz from 1978 to 1982. He then graduated from the Higher Technical College for Wood Management in Kuchl between 1982 and 1987 , where he passed the Matura . As a result, he did military service from 1987 to 1988 and then began studying business administration at the Vienna University of Economics in September 1988 . In 1994 he completed his studies with the academic degree Mag . Between 1994 and 1995, Hanger worked as an assistant to the management of Welser Profile AG , after which he took over the management of human resources there from 1995 to 1999. In 1999 he moved to Bene Büromöbel KG as head of human resources and finally became managing director of Konnex personnel consulting in 2001. In 2003 he moved to the sales management of Mosser Leimholz GmbH, where he worked until 2011. Hanger has also been Managing Director of Norwin Handels GmbH (wholesale) since October 2010.
Politics and functions
Hanger has been the parish party chairman of the ÖVP Ybssitz since March 20, 1992 and acts as a managing councilor in the parish with the departments of finance, culture and regional planning. In April 2008 he became a member of the district party executive and the district party presidium of the ÖVP Amstetten and has also been part of the district party chairman of the ÖVP Waidhofen an der Ybbs since 2008. In addition, he became a member of the district board of the ÖAAB Amstetten in 2010.
Hanger is a board member of the Regional Development Association of Lower Austria West - the association for the promotion and coordination of regional activities in the area of the Mostviertel, since 2009 chairman of the Eisenstraße-Ötscherland cultural park, since 2011 district manager of the Austrian Red Cross in Waidhofen an der Ybbs and since 2011 1st deputy chairman the Mostviertel tourist region.
Hanger ran for the 2013 Nationalrat election and won a mandate from the Mostviertel regional constituency . He was sworn in as a MP on October 29, 2013.
Private
Hanger is married and has two children.
