Andreas Hofgaard Winsnes ( AH Winsnes ) (* 1889 ; † 1972 ) was a Norwegian historian of literature and ideas.

Winsnes was Professor of European Literature at the University of Oslo from 1938 and one of the most prominent academics in Norway from the 1940s until his death. He was committed to the Riksmål language and was one of the founders of the Norwegian Academy .
