Andreas Georg Kunze (born May 6, 1978 in Mannheim ) is a German entertainer, radio and television presenter, musician and restaurateur.

Career

radio

He started his radio career in 2002 with the Rhineland-Palatinate radio station RPR1 . As “Intern Kunze” he moderated the “Volle Kanne Morningshow” alongside Lars Christian Karde. In 2005 he became an anchorman and the station's figurehead. He designed the program “Guten Morgen Rheinland-Pfalz” together with Nadja Gontermann. Singer Giovanni Zarrella has been part of the show as a "radio trainee" since September 2013 . In addition to the morning broadcast, he moderates various formats, including a. the cooking show "Kunze kocht", in which he cooks with restaurateurs and star chefs in southwest Germany (2009/2010). Since the beginning of his radio career, Kunze has hosted numerous different events, such as the Ball des Sports Rhineland-Palatinate, Opera Ball Leipzig, Cancer Gala Rhineland-Palatinate, New Year's Eve Gala Robinson Select Alpenrose in Lech Zürs or the RPR1. Rhineland-Palatinate Open Air.

Kunze has been on television since the end of the 2000s. Kunze's first TV appearance is the performance of the hit “Raspberry Ice Cream for Breakfast” in 2003 on Sat.1 breakfast television in the “Morningstar” section. In 2009 he visited the Big Brother house (season 9) as a “celebrity day guest” and caused explosives with provocative statements.

Kunze sings and plays the piano, church organ and accordion. He celebrated his greatest musical success as a singer with the remake of the classic "Raspberry Ice Cream for Breakfast" (2003). The song was produced by Christian Geller, who u. a. is responsible for Heino's successful album ("Kind regards"). He was number 1 in the German hit charts. The single "Forever" followed in the same year. In 2008 he got a record deal with EMI and released three singles, “30 degrees and sunshine”, “Trinkt aus” and “Fries mit Senf” (2009). In 2010 the single "In the shadow of the night" came out, but could not build on the success of 2003. He was also involved in various productions such as “RPR1. - Christmas with Kunze & Nadja ”. In 2007 he became a member of the combo "Kunze and the fat children", which regularly appears at festivals and events in Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg and Saarland. For the radio station RPR1. he regularly produces singalongs, jingles and comedy pieces.

Restaurateur

Kunze is known to his radio audience as a gourmet and “ bon vivant ”. Since 2008 he has been running a catering and party service with "Kunze FOOD" that offers specialties from the Palatinate. Together with GLOBUS Warenhaus GmbH, he sells the "Kunze Steak" in Rhineland-Palatinate. In 2012, in cooperation with wineries and distilleries, he brought the white wine "Everyday Gluck" and the fruit brandy "Kunze Kirsch" onto the market. In the same year, the “everyday happiness mustard” followed.

Private

Kunze is married and lives with his family in Worms. He has a daughter and a son.
