Andreas Lutz (rower)

Andreas Lutz (* 1970 ) is a former German rower .

Lutz started in 1987 as a light sculler for the Mainz rowing club from 1878 on rowing regattas. In 1992 he won the Nations Cup together with Matthias Bommer, Herbert Vogt and Ingo Euler the gold medal in lightweight sculls . In the following years Lutz qualified for the German national rowing team in the open age group. At the World Championships in 1993 , 1995 and 1996 he won the World Cup silver medal in the easy double sculls. In 1994 he rowed in the easy single at the World Championships , but was only able to occupy second place in the C final (overall position 14). Until 2003 Lutz continued to row for his club in rowing regattas in Germany, but he was no longer used internationally.
