Andreas Reeh

Andreas Reeh (born April 1, 1964 ) is a former German judoka who was German light middleweight champion in 1989.

Athletic career

Andreas Reeh won the 1986 Belgian Open Championships. In 1987 he reached the finals at Tournoi de Paris and won against the Japanese Tatsuto Mochida . In 1988 he lost to the Austrian Thomas Haasmann in the final of the military world championships . In 1989 Reeh , who started for Sport-Union Annen Witten , became German champion with a final victory over Hans-Jörg Opp from Pirmasens.

After the end of his active career, Reeh initially worked as a trainer at SUA Witten, later he became a regional trainer in the State Judo Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2019 he took over the management of the federal base in Cologne. At the end of 2019 Reeh was awarded the 6th Dan.
