Maren Kames

Maren Kames (* 1984 in Überlingen ) is a German writer , poet and translator . Based on her texts, she works on projects in the border area of ​​voice, sound and space.

Life

Kames was born in 1984 in Überlingen on Lake Constance and studied philosophy , literature and theater studies in Tübingen and Leipzig as well as creative writing and cultural journalism at the Institute for Literary Writing in Hildesheim .

In addition to her own work, Maren Kames is a scientific ghostwriter and translates plays and essays by the Israeli author and theater director Sivan Ben Yishai . She lives and works in Berlin.
