Career
Andreas Schiener began his professional career in 1993 at the Bundesliga club Admira Wacker , where he also played in all the youth teams from the age of 6. In 1995 the club reached the third round of the UEFA Cup, Andreas Schiener contributed two goals, but ultimately they failed at Juventus Turin . He then moved to FC Tirol Innsbruck for two years with his coach Didi Constantini , where the UI Cup allowed them to qualify for the UEFA Cup against 1. FC Köln and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, among others . Due to a serious injury to his Achilles tendon, he was only able to play 14 games in two contract years for his next club, FK Austria Wien , and was very close to the end of his career at the age of 23. In a nine-month engagement with the second division club WSG Swarovski Wattens , Andreas Schiener fought his way back and in 2000 signed a four-year contract with the reigning champions FC Tirol Innsbruck under coach Kurt Jara . There he celebrated two championship titles and was once in the Austrian cup final. After the bankruptcy of the club in 2002 under coach Jogi Löw , Andreas Schiener moved to LASK Linz for three years , where he achieved 6th place in the Krone footballer poll as captain and crowd favorite. He then moved to the regional league club FC Waidhofen / Ybbs , for which he was under contract for five years and celebrated the championship title under coach Ivica Vastić .
Andreas Schiener remained and remains loyal to football and, after a half-year break, still played in the Tyrolean regional league at FC Buch and since 2012 with the second team of WSG Swarovski Wattens as a veteran with the talents of the future.
