Monogrammist AT

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The gothic carver who created the relief of the circumcision of Christ in the Tyrolean state museum "Ferdinandeum" in Innsbruck is called the monogrammist AT . It is signed with AT1514 . His name is possibly Andreas Taubenbeck, and by comparing styles he is equated with the master von Rabenden . The monogrammist is stylistically related to the Pustertal altar workshops and the Salzburg-old Bavarian style area.
