Pınargözü (kurd. Xelkan ) is a village in the Yüksekova district of the Turkish province of Hakkâri . Pınargözü is located in the mountains of Southeast Anatolia at 1,970 m above sea level, approx. 42 km southwest of Yüksekova and close to the Iraqi border.

The original name of the village is Gelkan or Halkan. The name Ğelkan [sic] is registered with the land registry, Halkan was listed as an alternative name in the 1975 and 1980 censuses.

In 1985, 631 people lived in Pınargözü. In 2009 the village had 227 inhabitants.

The hamlets (tr. Mezra ) İnceyol (kurd. Ayir), Kışlacık (kurd. Baştazin) and Yeşilce (kurd. Mergan) belong to Pınargözü.
