Gürdere (Kurd. Civyan ) is a village in the Yüksekova district of the Turkish province of Hakkâri . Gürdere is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,920 m above sea level, approx. 12 km southwest of Yüksekova.
Gürdere means lush brook . The name Civyan is registered with the Land Registry.
In 2009 the village had 418 inhabitants. Gürdere has a primary school and a mosque.
In 2006, Gürdere was quarantined because of various cases of anthrax in livestock. Between 2007 and 2010, a total of four bodies were found near the village. In 2010, a hand-made PKK mine in the area was rendered harmless.
