Akpınar ( Turkish for white spring ) (Kurd. Soryan ) is a village in Yüksekova County, Hakkâri Province . It is located in the southeast of Turkey , 24 km north-east of the county seat. Akpınar is located at 2120 m above sea level north of the road between Yüksekova and the Esendere border crossing to Iran .

In 2000 there were 969 people living here. The Yüksekova City Administration's development plan for 2010-2014 indicates the current number of registered residents as 1257.
