Yeşiltaş (kurd. Şitazin ) is a village in the Yüksekova district of the Turkish province of Hakkâri . Yeşiltaş is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,340 m above sea level, approx. 44 km southwest of Yüksekova.

Yeşiltaş means green stone . The name Şitazin is registered with the land registry.

In 1985, 916 people lived in Yeşiltaş. In 2009 the village had 616 inhabitants. Yeşiltaş is located on a stream, the Bey Deresi. There is a primary school in the village. There is a barracks near Yeşiltaş. The hamlet of Darıca (Kurd. Serpêl) also belongs to Yeşiltaş. In 2009 one soldier was killed in action with the PKK . In 2010 there was also fighting near the village. In 2012, during a "revolutionary operation" in fighting with the army, the PKK claimed to have killed more than 100 soldiers. In fact, 8 soldiers and 15 PKK fighters died.
