Andreas de Maydeburg

Andreas de Maydeburg (also Meydeburg ) was an incumbent Dresden councilor and mayor in the Middle Ages .

Little is known about his origin and his life. As early as 1296 an Andreas de Magdeburg - probably his father - was first mentioned as a member of the city council and belonged to it until 1311. Andreas de Maydeburg (d. J.) is mentioned in 1342 as a margravial key taker and in 1352 was a member of the Dresden council and mayor.
