Hannus von Wylenstorf

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hannus (also Johannes, Hans) von Wylenstorf was a Dresden councilor and mayor in the Middle Ages .

Little is known about origin and life. The family probably came from Wilsdruff ( first mentioned in 1259 as Wilandestorf ). On June 7, 1318 a Johannes de Wilandisdorf is mentioned for the first time as a member of the Dresden council.

In 1337 Hannus von Wylenstorf was mayor of the city (document dated March 7, 1337), while his brother Apecz von Wylenstorf became a council member for the first time. In 1354 it appears for the last time in the council documents.
