Paulo Scott

Paulo Scott (born December 8, 1966 in Porto Alegre , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ) is a Brazilian writer .

Life

Scott graduated from the Law School of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul . He completed his studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and then went to Rio de Janeiro in 2008 . Since this year he has devoted himself entirely to writing.

He wrote Scott's first work in 2001 under the pseudonym Elrodris . In the period that followed, his works were awarded prizes and made into films. In 2013 he was a participant in the Festa Literária Internacional de Paraty . In the same year he was invited to the book fair in Frankfurt am Main as one of the 70 writers in his country.

  • 2010: Bolsa Petrobrás da Criação Literária for Habitante unreal (list of suggestions).
  • 2012: Finalist for the Prêmio da Fundação Biblioteca Nacional for the same novel.
