Andrei Botashov

Andrej Botaschow (also written Andrej Batashov , Bulgarian Андрей Баташов ; born September 10, 1965 in Volgograd , Soviet Union , † November 29, 2010 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian actor and politician.

Life

Botashov was considered one of the most popular actors in the Bulgarian theater. He played in more than 40 roles in theater and film. He had his best-known role in “Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll”, a one-man play in Sofia that has been performed over 500 times since 1999.

He studied at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Sofia ( Национална академия за театрално и филмово изкуство ; НАТФИЗ), where he also held an assistant professorship for acting. Andrei Botaschow was a member of the 40th National Assembly for the National Movement for Stability and Progress party .
