Andrew Miller (Author, 1960)
Andrew Miller (born April 29, 1960 in Bristol ) is a British novelist. He is not to be confused with the namesake, born in 1974, who publishes under the name AD Miller .
Miller studied creative writing at the University of East Anglia in Norwich and at Lancaster University . He won several awards in 1997 for his debut The Gift of Pain , a development novel about an 18th century surgeon who feels no pain. All of his novels have been translated into German. Miller lives in Somerset .
