Andrew Zamorano , full name Andrew Gaspar Zamorano Melgar , (born February 4, 1995 in Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.75-meter-tall defender Zamorano moved to Club Sportivo Cerrito on loan from the reserve team River Plate Montevideos at the end of August 2014 . There he made his debut in the Segunda División on September 13, 2014 , when he was called into the starting line-up by coach Marcelo Yaurreche in the 1-1 draw against Miramar Misiones . In the Apertura 2014 he played a total of 14 league games without a personal goal. In early 2015 he returned to River Plate Montevideo. In February 2015 he joined the Club Atlético Cerro , where he was a member of the reserve team (Formativas). Since the second half of July 2016 he has been in the ranks of Cerrito again. In the 2016 season he was used five times in the second-highest Uruguayan league. During the current 2017 season, he has played 13 second division games so far (as of August 22, 2017). He did not score a league goal in either season.
