Andrzej Karpiński (* 1963 in Piła ) is a Polish drummer, keyboardist, composer, theater painter, illustrator and airbrush artist.

Karpiński was the drummer of the Poznan punk rock band Sten from 1979 to 1981 . After its dissolution, he founded the Reportaż group with musicians from the Poznan Lyceum of Fine Arts . She produced the LP Reportaż in Poland and Up the River in England and performed at concerts in Poland, including the Marchewka Festival 1987 in Warsaw, alongside musicians such as David Thomas , Chris Cutler , The Wooden Birds , Minimal Compact and The Ex . The group's records have also appeared in the USA, Belgium, France and Italy. In 2002–03 she realized as a music theater program with Karpiński as an actor, and there were solo concert programs and two other records: Gulasz z Serc and Muzyka do Tańca .

Karpiński also took part in Lech Jankowski's recording sessions for Brothers Quay films , gave concerts as a Pogady Duo with double bass player Bogdan Mezerski from 2004–05, and in 2005 founded the Beszensory Duo with pianist Witold Oleszak . At the 2007 Gare aux Orille Festival in Avignon, he performed with guitarist Nikolas Chatenoud .

With his wife Marzena Karpińska he founded the Atelier Airbrush & Design in 1991 . In addition to artistic painting, airbrush and computer works, prints and multimedia objects for advertising companies and companies are created here. Karpiński is the founder and chief judge of the first Polish competition for airbrush painting Ucho van Gogh .
