Andrzej Płonczyński

Andrzej Płonczyński is a Polish pianist, composer and arranger.

Płonczyński studied piano with Paweł Lewiecki at the Warsaw Music Academy and began a career as a piano virtuoso. However, he became known as a piano accompanist for artists such as Bernard Ładysz , Irena Santor , Jerzy Połomski , Wiesław Michnikowski , Halina Kunicka and Mieczysław Fogg . As a repertoire advisor and companion, he made a significant contribution to Anna German's successes in the Soviet Union and at her concerts in the Paris Olympic Stadium.

For many years he participated in the radio series Podwieczorek przy mikrofonie ; He also worked with the Warsaw National Philharmonic , the Polish Army artists' ensemble, and Polish radio and television.
