Stixe ( Low German Stix ) is a village in the Kaarßen district of the municipality of Amt Neuhaus in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is two kilometers northwest of Kaarßen on the B 195 . Neuhaus , the seat of the municipality, is seven kilometers northwest of the village. The Stixer Wanderdüne is located 500 meters to the northeast .
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that Stixe had 15 residential buildings in which 148 residents lived, in the associated Vorwerk it was a residential building with ten residents. At the time the place was parish after Kaarßen, the school was in the place. On December 1, 1910, Stixe had 115 inhabitants in the Bleckede district , the manor district 17. As part of the territorial changes in Mecklenburg , Stixe was incorporated into Kaarßen on July 1, 1950. After German reunification , the place moved on June 30, 1993 from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to Lower Saxony in the district of Lüneburg . On October 1st, 1993 Kaarßen was incorporated into the municipality of Amt Neuhaus with Stixe.
