The cluster village Tripkau is part of the municipality of Amt Neuhaus in the district of Lüneburg in Lower Saxony .
The village is on the B 195 . The Krainke , a tributary of the Sude , flows on the southern outskirts and the Elbe flows southeast one kilometer away. The border with Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania runs one kilometer to the northeast.
history
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent communities Bohnenburg, Laake, Pinnau, Strachau, Wehningen and Wilkensdorf were incorporated.
Buildings
- The St. Marien Church in Tripkau is a half-timbered church from 1864. The interior of the church was redesigned in 1998 by the painter and university professor Ludwig Ehrler .
