Andrzej Wasilewski

Andrzej Władysław Wasilewski (* 1939 in Kraków ) is a Polish environmental lawyer and professor emeritus at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. His research areas include environmental and nature conservation law in Poland. He worked at the Institute for Administrative Law there ( Polish Wydział Prawa i Administracji ) at the Chair of Nature Conservation Law ( Polish Katedra Prawa Ochrony Środowiska ) and was a judge at the Supreme Court of Poland. He was a guest researcher and speaker at the University of Augsburg several times and took part in the second Warnemünde Nature Conservation Law Day (September 19 and 20, 1996). In 2011 he was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta .
