Andy Mattes
Andreas Walter "Andy" Mattes (born April 10, 1961 in Nuremberg ) is a German manager. From June 2013 to December 2017 he was Managing Director of the US machine manufacturer Diebold Nixdorf .
Life
Mattes studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He began his career in 1985 as a sales consultant in the communications and data technology division at Siemens AG . From 1987 he worked in various positions in the US subsidiary of this Siemens division and was appointed CEO of Siemens Communications Inc. in 2004. From January 2006 he held various managerial positions in the enterprise division of Hewlett-Packard , which he left in 2011. In June 2013, he was appointed President and CEO of the US machine manufacturer Diebold. He was CEO of Diebold Nixdorf, which was created through the merger of Wincor Nixdorf and Diebold.
He lives in Gates Mills , Ohio with his wife Andrea and three children .
