Approach lane

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As approach path or fly zone is called the area near airfields where aircraft to their landing approach and carry out the regular minimum altitude of 300 meters below above ground. This area is usually in an extended line to the respective runway and widens in a funnel shape the further away it is from the runway.

In the approach lanes of airfields, there is increased noise pollution because the aircraft are at a low altitude . That is why there are certain requirements for the installation of soundproof windows for the residents of these areas , in some cases special authorizations to obtain subsidy benefits for noise - insulating construction measures, or tax breaks.
