Angela Mao Ying

Angela Mao (* 20th September 1950 in Taiwan as Mao Fu Ying ) is a Taiwanese actress of kung fu movies of the 1970s. She is also known by the names Angela Mao and Mao Ying .

Mao Ying is called Lady Whirlwind and Lady Kung Fu by her fans . She trained Kung Fu , Hapkido , Taekwondo, and other martial arts disciplines to prepare for her film roles. She received $ 100 for her brief appearance in the movie The Man with the Death Claw .

Angela married Kelly Lui (Yee Shun Chee) in 1974 and had a daughter in 1976. In 1982 she withdrew from the film business to devote herself to her family.
