Angelo Lameri

Angelo Lameri (born November 26, 1961 in Crema ) is an Italian theologian.

Life

He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Crema on June 15, 1985 and received his doctorate in theology with liturgical-pastoral specialization at the Institute for Pastoral Liturgy S. Giustina in Padua in 1995 . He was secretary to the bishop of his diocese, parish administrator and director of the diocese's liturgical office for ten years. From 1997 to 2007 he was President of the Regional Liturgical Commission of Lombardy and from 2005 to 2019 he was a member of the National Liturgical Office of the Italian Bishops' Conference. He is currently Full Professor of Liturgy and General Sacramentary at the Lateran University and Visiting Professor at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce . Since 2010 he has been advisor to the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments and since 2013 advisor to the Office for Liturgical Celebrations of the Pope.
