The Roman Catholic Diocese of Crema ( lat. : Dioecesis Cremensis , ital. : Diocese of Crema ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Crema .

history

The diocese Crema was on April 11, 1580 by Pope Gregory XIII. built with the Papal Bull Super Universas and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Milan as a suffragan . On December 10, 1582, the Diocese of Crema was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Bologna as a suffragan. Pope Gregory XVI assigned the diocese back to the ecclesiastical province of Milan on February 5, 1835 with the Papal Bull Romani Pontificis .
