The Angertorstrasse Festival is a lesbian , queer , colorful street festival in Munich . It takes place annually on a Saturday in July and opens Pride Week .

Various institutions of the Munich lesbian-gay-trans scene are represented with information stands and provide information about their work.

The Angertor Street Festival is the largest lesbian street festival in Bavaria.

History and organization

Angertorstraße is a small street on the edge of the gay and lesbian Glockenbach district , where the LeTRa lesbian advice center is also located. The festival was celebrated for the first time in 2006 on the 10th birthday of LeTRa and has been organized since then by the counseling center and the center of the Lesbentelefon eV, Munich , which is the sponsoring association for LeTRa.
